Welcome Message

On behalf of the Organising Committee, I am pleased to invite you to participate in the 4th Meeting of the Wound Healing Society (Singapore).

The meeting will once again also be convened in association with the Department of Clinical Research, Singapore General Hospital as well as the Association of Burn Injuries, Singapore. The theme for this meeting is "Evidence Based Wound Care - The Asian Perspective".

Since our last meeting in 2005, many of the attending Asian nations' opinion were sought regarding the Wound Healing Federation. I am pleased to host the inauguration and may this association go from strength to strength never forgetting our focus is to better patient wound management.

The Organising Committee will assemble a stimulating and edifying programme. Evidence in wound care is increasingly governing the way we manage wounds under a scientific umbrella. This meeting signals an exciting start of an era in Asian Wound Healing. It is the fervent hope that this initiative will galvanize Asian nations to gain their rightful place in the wound care global sphere. This conference will provide an opportunity for all clinicians and healthcare professionals around the region to come together to learn from the experts as well as from each other.

We look forward to meeting you.
